WorthTheCity keeps optional measurement off until you allow it. This page explains what can be measured, which providers may receive data, and how to change your choice.

Optional measurement scripts stay off until you choose “Allow analytics.” Choosing “Essential only” keeps city scores, search, comparisons, and other core features working. Your choice is stored in this browser as wtc-analytics-consent-v1.
Trip-fit email and personal reports
When you save a trip fit, we store your email, selected travel month and year, budget tier, recommendation source, selected city, and the matcher signals used to explain the recommendation. Consent time and delivery status are retained for compliance and support.
Confirmation, report, and unsubscribe links use one-way token hashes. We use Resend to deliver double opt-in email. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours; private report links expire after 30 days and are excluded from search engines. Every message includes an unsubscribe link.
WorthTheCity does not currently offer public user accounts or accept payment details. If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to include so we can respond to corrections, support questions, or partnership inquiries.
Measurement
Optional analytics
After consent, Google Analytics may process pseudonymous interaction, browser, device, approximate location, referrer, and traffic-source information. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights may process aggregated page, route, referrer, device, coarse location, and performance information. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying contact details in analytics events or URLs.
Booking and activity links may pass through a Stay22 affiliate redirect whether or not optional analytics are enabled. After consent, some city pages also load Stay22 link optimization. Stay22 states that it may process technical information such as IP address, browser, device, time zone, regional location, and booking attribution received from booking partners. Booking sites you open have their own privacy policies and terms.
Service providers determine retention and international processing under their own terms and our account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, or delete personal information. Contact us at contact@worththecity.com with a privacy request.
